Clay vessels have been important to humanity for at least 20,000 years. Their incredible significance as useful objects lead, unsurprisingly, to their adoption as an important symbol in art and adornments. Making these charms was an act of reverence for their place in history, but also a personal tribute to the joy that making pottery has brought to my life.
